MIL-DTL-5015 Series connectors are designed to connect electrical and electronic equipment and are widely used in military and general industrial applications. Connector Design
The MIL-DTL-5015 series is a circular threaded tactile connector. The housings are made of die-cast aluminium alloy with zinc plating and olive chromate finish to protect the housing against
The housing is made of die-cast aluminium alloy with zinc plating and olive chromate finish to protect the housing from environmental influences. They are suitable for operation in severe temperatures from -55°C to +125°C (-55°F to +257°F).
Various categories and types of connectors are available for the following applications:
a. KD3100 :Receptacle for wall or bulkhead mounting with pigtail for conduit or cable clamps.
b. KD3101 :For cable ends that move back and forth in the installation and do not need to be secured. c. KD3102 :For cable ends that move back and forth in the installation and do not need to be secured.
c. KD3102: Receptacle for mounting on shielded boxes and equipment boxes. The cable ends are not fitted with fittings, the wires are exposed and are suitable for use in enclosures where a sealed environment is achieved by other means.
d. KD3106: Plug and socket for cable termination.
e. KD3108: 90° elbow plug for cable ends where space does not permit the use of straight plugs.
f. Type A connectors are one-piece shell connectors .
g. Type B connectors are split shell connectors. The split shell provides greater ease of soldering.
